The main dishes were good just like how I expected them. The portions were enough for single meal. I guess some people expect bigger because that’s how we eat. I just didn’t like how the rice was kinda burned. It wasn’t black or anything just slightly light brown on the bottom and kind of stale didn’t taste fresh. I got the rice you get at the bottom of the rice cooker.

I didn't have the best experience the first time I ordered so I didn't want to leave a review because I didn't want to sound mean and nasty. I decided to try them again after letting some time pass and things were better. The first time I ordered all the rice in all the dishes was really hard. Probably under cooked. I had to add extra water to get it to be somewhat saved when I reheated it. The portions were generous and I really liked that. The bistek was so sour that I thought maybe something was wrong with it. I ordered at least 2 of that dish. Such a waste. Worst I've ever had. The next time I ordered from them I didn't even bother trying it again. If that's their recipe then there's no saving it. One gripe I had was the containers they provided were not microwave friendly. And I primarily used these dishes to grab and go for my work lunch. After the first container melted and flopped, I knew I had to take that extra step and transfer the food to a Tupperware container before leaving for work. Well the next time I ordered, the containers were different and microwave ready. However, having said that, the portions also became smaller. A lot less meat. I don't know if it's also the luck of the draw or a change in cut of meat purchased but the first time I got the caldereta there was plenty of meat. The next time there were a lot of the pieces with cartilage which are taking up a lot of room in my dish but not filling me up in my stomach. Pleased with the taste of their dishes except for the one previously mentioned. I would consider ordering again. I finally wrote this review because I was constantly being sent emails asking me to review my order. There's good and not so good stuff to say but overall I would say the food is fine and beats having to do a lot of prep in the kitchen.

Packaging for each box is poor. Not microwaveable lid, making reheat of the rice bad, it turned to stone solid. Disposable/plant based container is only suitable for consumption within the day not for the whole week storage… the container dissolves itself or stuck to the food. Good food but unless you change the packaging I won’t order again.

This place is soooo good if you want traditional/home cooked meal! The Pork Adobo on rice is really delicious, slow cooked to perfection!
